Wimbledon - Since his devastating loss at the French Open, it seems everyone has been weighing in on Roger's chances at Wimbledon. Even though he seldom drops a set before the finals on grass, doubters seem to be plentiful.
Five Consecutive Wimbledon Championships for Bjorn Borg would seem to qualify him for some nice impartial comments by a great champion, but could there be some fear?
"He's going down hill fast," said Borg at a Pub in Cheshire, "I mean he almost didn't hold serve once in that wimpy warm-up tournament in Germany."
Even Roger's own Mom has come out and said, "Roger is prime for a butt kickin', he needs to eat more vegtables. Roger is a good boy, but he needs to listen to me better!"
"This is all getting ridiculous," said Andre Agassi, "Roger has what would be an incredible year for 90 percent of the ranked players and people are ready to write him off."
"Are we talking about Roger Federer?" asked Nadal, "Give me a break."
Roger himself came out with this, "I think people are talking too much, including my Mom, I miss one lousy house payment for her and this is what I get?"
Roger is safely into the second round at Wimbledon.
