A boxing tournament for washed-up, has-been boxers has thrown together in the very first round, the two fighters everyone wants to see get back in the ring with each other, Chris Eubank and Nigel Benn.

Eubank, 52, and Benn, the Dark Destroyer, 54, last fought in October 1993 - a full 25 years ago! - with the bout ending in a draw. SKY offered to stage what would have been their third clash, at Wembley with a £6million purse, but this never happened, because the two had, by then, vowed never to speak to each other again, and crossed one another's name off their respective Christmas card lists.

Now, however, with money tight in both of the ex-boxers' households, the pair have decided to patch things up, and try to kill each other again.

The winner of the fight will progress to the next round, to face the victor of the contest between Evander Holyfield and George Foreman, the bloke who makes those grills.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
