LOS ANGELES - Lakers fans are still reeling from witnessing the worst defeat in the history of the boys in purple and gold and they are asking that Coach D'Antoni be fired.
The Lakers were walloped all over the place by their neighbors the Los Angeles Clippers 142-94. The game was so boring that after the third quarter the Lakers cheerleaders were all just sitting around looking pretty while eating hot dogs, popcorn, and nachos.
The Staples Center announcer simply turned off his microphone midway in the fourth quarter just after he told the fans to figure it out for themselves.
Coach D'Antoni was asked by Sports Balls Illustrated Daily after the game what in the wide, wide world of sports happened to his team.
He shrugged his shoulders and replied that he figures his team stayed at the hotel eating sushi, tofu, and quiche.
The Lakers owner was asked if the fans would be getting a refund. He smiled and said that he had to catch a plane to Georgia and could not answer that question at this time.
