LOS ANGELES - Sports Balls Illustrated Daily has just broken the story regarding Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant's political aspirations.

Rufus Reno with SBID said that he talked with Kobe and he sounded upbeat considering that he is in very bad shape physically.

Kobe has said that he loves playing basketball so much that he would even consider playing the game on crutches or in a walker.

But even he knows that there comes a time in every pro athlete's life when Father Time hits the buzzer for the very last time.

Kobe told Reno that his heart wants to play for another 10 years but his body might not even be able to play for another 10 minutes.

Bryant is perhaps one of the most popular Lakers in the history of the purple and gold team.

He is also one of the most popular individuals in Tinsel Town along with Jack Nicholson, Heidi Klum, Ryan Seacrest, and Ke$ha.

Kobe was asked by Reno if he like so many athletes who retire has any political aspirations.

The man who wears number 24 for the Lakers paused for a few moments and then remarked that he may consider running for mayor of Los Angeles.

He stated that he has already been told by a group of 36 LaLaLand celebrities and fellow athletes that they would throw their support to him if he decided to run for mayor of L.A.

In Other News. Vice-President Joe Biden recently revealed to Political Salad Bar Magazine that the singer Pink has just become his number one fantasy.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
