Many Super Bowl betters are using betting machines to place their Super Bowl bets.

LAS VEGAS - The Las Vegas Betting Coalition has just issued a report stating that Super Bowl XLVIII has just set a record for bets.

An insider stated that as of Saturday morning, February 1, at 11:45 a.m. the total amount of money that had been bet on the Denver Broncos vs. the Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl game was an astounding $48 billion.

It was noted that bets had been made on all kinds of Super Bowl related situations including how many inches of snow would fall during the course of the game.

Another betting possibility was how many times FOX Network game announcer Joe Buck would say the phrase, "I'm Joe, He's Troy" in reference to his co-announcer ex-Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman.

SIDENOTE: Unconfirmed reports state that Charlie Sheen has bet $700,000 on the Denver Broncos.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
