NEW YORK CITY - The National Football League has just made it known that they are not going to be putting up with any diva-like antics from Seahawks cornerback Richard "Motor Mouth" Sherman.
The loud-mouthed, quick-tempered Seattle player was fined $7,875 by the NFL for his Kanye West-type outburst during and after the championship game with the San Francisco 49ers.
Sherman, who has said he is distantly related to Civil War General Tecumseh Sherman, received the fine for unsportsmanlike taunting, for making the choke sign, as well as for having the ugliest dreadlocks in the entire NFL.
A spokesperson for the NFL commissioner's office added that the Super Bowl-bound Mr. Sherman is lucky that the commissioner did not also insist that he cut off his silly-looking locks as Oprah Winfrey calls them.
Number 25 told the sports media that if he was a white boy or a Samoan he would not have been fined any money at all.
He also noted that he did not appreciate the network that broadcast the Seahawks-49ers game putting subtitles at the bottom of the screen when he was talking to reporter Erin Andrews after the game.
SIDENOTE: President Obama and Vice-President Biden have both said that Sherm the Germ really needs to spend less time running off at the mouth and more time concentrating on the Denver Broncos who are going to mop the football field with him.
