In a modest statement from Tom Brady, he says he may well be the greatest ever at his NFL position.
Most people think Brady is still upset at being fined $10,000 for kicking a Baltimore Ravens player.
"These guys go beyond trying to defeat you at football, there are some out there that are trying to take you out of the game and I've had it with a few of them."
As far as him being the greatest NFL Quarterback ever, who knows. There's one in Denver right now that would also be a candidate.
However, it's hard to deny Brady's claims. In Brady's eleven seasons as a starter, the Patriots have earned five trips to the Super Bowl, winning three. His career postseason record is 17-7; his playoff win total is the highest in NFL history. He has also won two Super Bowl MVP awards, has been selected to eight Pro Bowls, and holds the NFL record for most touchdown passes in a single regular season...until Sunday, when it was broken by Peyton Manning.
He also has a temper. And not all of it is with the opposing teams.
"Yeah, Brady can get after you", stated one teammate, "but he will forget it and congratulate you if you do your job. He just hates the sneak hits while on the ground or in a pileup. Guess he thought he was only giving a little back by the Baltimore kicking. Then he gets fined for it."
