SEATTLE - The crowd at CenturyLink Field in Seattle was not a happy one as the final seconds tipped off and their Seattle Seahawks lost to the Arizona Cardinals 17-10.
The Seahawks record now stands at 12-3, but as Seattle wide receiver Golden Tate (#81) said after the game, "We should have won that game. We were favored to win and we were playing in our home stadium to boot."
Tate went on to say that he'd heard that President Obama had bet on the Seahawks to win so he definitey lost some money on the game.
Arizona defensive end Frostee Rucker (#98) said that they really got fired up when early in the third quarter they heard the Seattle cheerleaders yelling Peebles, boulders, stones, and rocks, stomp the Cards you mighty 'Hawks.
Rucker said that when his team heard that they suddenly turned into a team of Incredible Hulks and it was all downhill from there.
SIDENOTE: Arizona linebacker Alex Okafor, who wears number 57, says he has a brother who works as a custodian at the White House and he told him that President Obama had bet $800 on the Seahawks.
