Sports Balls Illustrated Daily asked the dean of the University of Oklahoma if he knew anything about this so called football curse.
He shook his head. He then opened up a drawer and pulled out a file with the name Elvira Virginia Plumfiggle on it.
The dean then said that Mrs. Plumfiggle has been making that very same claim for the past 13 years.
He pointed out that Plumfiggle has actually served time down in Chickasha State Prison for various reasons ranging from counterfeiting to molesting a holstein dairy cow.
SIDENOTE: Oklahoma natives Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, Vince Gil, and Reba McEntire all sang the "Stars Spangled Banner" before the game. Several fans noted that for some reason Reba was kind of pitchy.
