TAMPA BAY, Florida - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ownership is embarrassed at the teams 0-8 record.
Attendance to the games has drastically fallen and the team owners are frantic at the prospect of losing money.
One of the Tampa Bay cheerleaders came up with the idea, which she passed on to management, that in order to bring in some fans the Buccaneers game against the Miami Dolphins will be promoted as A Free Popcorn For All Game.
Head Coach Greg Schiano stated that he thinks it is a great idea. One of the defensive lineman asked if the players could also participate in the promotion and he was threatened with a $3,000 fine.
At first the idea was to give out Free Beer but that was vetoed by the Tampa Bay Police Department who said they did not have the jail cell space to hold the thousands and thousands of inebriated drivers the Free Beer Promotion would have created.
