MIAMI - A spokesperson for the Miami Dolphins has confirmed reports that Richie Incognito, a starting safety has been suspended by the team due to a lunchroom incident.
According to an eyewitness, who did not want his name or his jersey number revealed, Incognito (#68) reportedly threw a chicken enchilada at fellow teammate Jonathan Martin (#71).
The chicken enchilada allegedly hit Martin on his left ear causing some bruising. Martin said that he was tempted to retaliate by hitting Incognito with a double weinered hot dog but was talked out of it by the team punter Brandon Fields (#2).
The Dolphins organization has stated in no uncertain terms that they are not going to put up with any type of Animal House antics from anyone employed by their organization whether it be players, coaches, cheerleaders, cotton candy vendors, or even the team mascot.
