LOS ANGELES - The quarterback without a team, Tim Tebow, has just been offered a 3-year-contract to play professional football.
According to The Sports Bet Gazette, Tebow has been contacted by the owners of the AFL's L.A. Kiss to be the team's quarterback.
Co-owners Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of the legendary band KISS have told Tebow that they would welcome him with open arms and an offer of all the free hot dogs he can eat.
Simmons remarked to Tebow that he can imagine how disappointed he must be at having been cut by the New England Patriots and before that the New York Jets.
The former KISS bass guitarist stated that perhaps Tim needs to stay away from teams with the word new in their title and join the Left Coast team that is recognized worldwide simply as L.A. or El Lay south of the border.
Tebow reportedly thanked the two owners but he said that he still feels he can play with the big boys and he has faith that some NFL team will be giving him a call in the near future.
SIDENOTE: An unnamed White House source stated that President Obama's daughter Malia asked him a few days ago where Syria was and why the heck do we need to be messing around over there when we have lots and lots of problems in the United States that need our attention; like Chicago for one.
