NEW YORK CITY - Danica Patrick was visiting New York City when she was asked if it was true that she had agreed to enter The Dubai 500 auto race in September.
Danica, who was dressed in a white NASCAR halter top and red, white, and blue shorts replied that she would in fact be racing in India.
She informed Rufus Reno with Sports Balls Illustrated Daily that she has been wanting to race in the prestigious race for the past three years.
She said that she finally decided to go ahead and do it even though her current boyfriend fellow NASCAR racer Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., told her he did not want her traveling to India.
He said that he was afraid she would get badly sunburned since he heard that the country has banned suntan lotion and sunblock.
Danica revealed to Reno that Ricky boy has not quite yet learned that no man is going to tell her what to do, what to say, or what to cook.
She said that she is not happy with him at the moment due to the fact that he got all bent out of shape when he learned that she had been flirting with Dancing With The Star's dancer Derek Hough.
The 31-year-old Tigress of The Track said that she ran into Derek (no pun intended) at a Burger Bandit in Toluca Lake.
SIDENOTE: Rufus Reno stated that when Danica mentioned Derek Hough her eyes lit up and he could see that she is physically attracted to the Dancing Dude.
