MEMPHIS - The Land of Elvis Presley was singing the blues as their hometown team the Memphis Grizzlies got beat by The NBA Championship Game bound San Antonio Spurs 93-86.
Tony "The Frenchman" Parker dashed and slashed his way through the Grizzlies defenders leading the silver and black team with a season high 37 points.
After the game Tony said that he and his teammates won the game for Tim "The Fundamentalist" Duncan.
Tony speaking with Hercules Confetti of Sporting Chance Magazine said that all of the team has rallied around Tim as he prepares to face the journey to dreaded "D" Land.
Tony smiled as he told Confetti that the Spurs public relations director told him that just in the past two days, he has received over 6,000 offers from all over the United States from young, gorgeously beautiful women offering to be Tim's girlfriend once his divorce is final.
Parker, himself was divorced a few years ago, from the sensuously sexy Hollywood starlet Eva Longoria, after she reportedly caught him exchanging erotic text messages [i.e. sexting] with three different cheerleaders with The San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancers.
The Spurs will now play for the NBA Championship beginning on June 6.
Tony says that he and fellow Spurs player Manu Ginobili will be inviting Timmy over for a good old-fashioned Texas-style barbecue.
Parker grinned from ear-to-ear as he added that Coach Gregg Popovich has said that he will be providing the wine from his tremendously extensive and expensive world wide wine collection.
SIDENOTE: Manu Ginobili laughed as he said that their barbecues are not exactly 100 percent Texan since he is from Argentina, Tony is from France, and Timmy is from the Virgin Islands. He then smiled and added that the Spurs mascot, the Coyote, however was born and bred in San Antonio, Texas.
