NEW YORK CITY - After receiving tens of thousands of complaints in the form of emails, text messages, and phone calls from upset NBA fans, the commissioner of the NBA David Stern has issued an official warning to Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Commissioner Stern has made it crystal clear to Mr. Bryant that he is to refrain from tweeting during the playoff series between the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Stern stated that he totally backs up Lakers Coach Mike D'Antoni who has told his player-coach and head cheerleader to stop with his out-of-control tweeting.
Coach D'Antoni told Rufus Reno with Sports Balls Illustrated Daily that "Vino" Bryant's tweets were not only an embarrassment but they were also a tremendous distraction.
D'Antoni revealed that he actually had to take away Metta World Peace and Paul Gasol's cell phones to prevent them from seeing The Black Mamba's tweets.
SIDENOTE: Commissioner Stern has gone on record as saying that if Bryant tweets one more time during an officially sanctioned NBA basketball playoff game he will be fined $400 for each letter in the tweet.
