LOS ANGELES - Jack Nicholson is one happy old geezer as he just received a cashier's check in the mail for $100,000.

The check is for a bet he made with New York Knicks fan Spike Lee. Jack had made the bet with Lee a little over six weeks ago.

At that time Lee had told Jack that there was no way that the Lakers would make it into the playoffs.

He even told Nicholson that he would make a $100,000 wager on that fact. Jack took the bet and the Lakers ended up becoming the seventh seed in the Western Conference.

Nicholson said that he will use the money to pay for next year's Lakers season tickets.

He then grinned and said that he is going to use some of it to buy Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence, 22, a very nice diamond necklace, matching diamond ear rings, and a brand new KIA Magna Carta.

In Other News. Zydeco Dupree writes in his book Trivia Territory that 98% of all kangaroos are left-handed.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
