HOLLYWOOD - Simon Cowell made it known to the executives at the Fox Network that he was not happy that the post-season baseball game between the San Francisco Giants and the St. Louis Cardinals caused his show, X-Factor to be preempted.
The National League Championship Series game was halted due to a thunderstorm that hit the St. Louis area causing a 3½ hour rain delay.
Reports are that the sale of hot dogs, beer, raincoats, and gummy bears did however go right through the roof, assuming of course that Busch Stadium had a roof, which is doesn't.
Cowell sitting at The Vicious Guppy Seafood Diner in Hollywood with his girlfriend Carmen Electra told Bedroom Pillow Talk's Carolina Chipotle that he was so angry about his show not being shown on Wednesday night that he is considering filing several lawsuits.
When asked against who, the man who says he hates baseball and is known as The Sultan of Sarcasm replied the lawsuits would be filed against Major League Baseball, the St. Louis Cardinals, the San Francisco Giants, the National League Umpires, and the local St. Louis weather forecasters.
SIDENOTE: Cowell told Miss Chipotle that he texted President Obama and asked him to make some type of presidential directive which will prevent something like this from happening in the future.
