Kevin Garnett, aka KG, aka Skinny, aka that Lieutenant from the Wire, has made it clear to Celtics management that he is of the firm opinion that his talents would be best suited to that of Point Guard.
Speaking to NBA.com, Garnett said, "Sometimes a chicken has to lay an egg before it can feed its kids. Do you feel me? The chicken has to cook that egg, be it scrambled, an omelette, fried, with bacon or without, it doesn't matter, but the chicken need to cook it and feed the kids. That's what I feel I can bring to the table by moving to Point Guard and I made sure to let Doc know that."
This latest rant just adds to the growing list of odd analogies KG has come to use. Speaking in August after Lebron James finally won his ring;
"The way I saw the situation with Lebron. I compare that to the Pakistan/Kashmir issue. Sometimes you just gotta take that land."
Or when Dwight Howard joined the Lakers;
"Listen, the way I see it, is the way I see the Mona Lisa. Ugly women should not be painted."
