It appears that it will be quite a while before Lamar Odom sets foot on a basketball court again.

DALLAS - The Dallas Mavericks organization has finally had enough of Mr. Lamar "LaLaLand" Odom and have placed him on the inactive list instead of outright releasing him.

Mavericks owner Mark "Smiley" Cuban told Sherwood Frisbee with Sports Balls Illustrated Weekly that he just got fed up with Odom's lackadaisical play, his listless verbalizing, and his constant ogling of the Dallas Mavericks cheerleaders.

Several of the Mav players had asked Mr. Cuban to sit Lamar down and let him know how the cow ate the cabbage.

Super star Dirk Nowitzki stated that he personally did not like the fact that at times Lamar's wife, the big bottomed Khloe Kardashian would actually come down from her assigned seat and sit next to Lamar on the bench.

Teammate Jason Kidd added that Khloe was always bringing "The Lamster" things like hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, tamales, beer, and Raisinettes.

Cuban told Mr. Frisbee that he hopes to trade Odom but that at the moment there is no team in the NBA who wants him knowing that he comes with some excess baggage; namely one muchly made up Khloe Kardashian.

SIDENOTE: The word on the streets of El Lay is that the Laker fans do not ever want to see Odom in a Laker's uniform again. They said that they are thrilled to get rid of one of the Kardashian 'triplets' and hope that Kim and Kourtney follow in Khloe's footsteps.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
