A meeting at Upton Park for Football supporters has decided West Ham will lead the Championship at the end of the year.
This all embracing meeting did not invite fans from Southampton, Birmingham or Reading because their views did not coincide with the West Ham viewpoint.
'We needed people who agreed with us to get a good discussion going' explained West Ham Manager Sam Allardyce 'after all what do others know about us?'
Southampton fans have denounced the verdict as biased. 'Why have a meeting and only ask those who agree with you?' one fan asked.
Hammers fans explained they were only following guidelines supplied by the Government. The first guideline is that 'Only those who agree with you should be invited to meetings.'
It was clear that fans of other clubs contending for top spot, whose views were already only too apparent would upset any sensible approach to the matter. As one West Ham fan, Cameron Lansley said: 'What do other football fans know about football, anyway?'
