The match is to take place at the Wembley Stadium, owned by the FA, through their subsidiary Wembley National Stadium Ltd (WNSL), to which many MP's are shareholders and advisors, later in 2011.
The inspiration for such a competitive match came from Barclay's (22% shareholders) Advisor wife of Government Minister William Hague.
The Race Relations departments of both countries think it is a good idea.
The Bundesliga and the FA have held secret meetings, to arrange and finalise details of the competition over the last four months. Now with Euro Dollar difficulties to contend with, they thought this was a good time to introduce the idea, to help cement good relationships throughout Europe.
The German team will comprise of those currently playing in the Bundesliga, and the English team, of current premiership players.
The teams were chosen for the FA by Sven-goran Eriksson, and Jupp Derwall for the Bundesliga.
