Scientist looking into the recent bizarre phenomenon of deads birds and fishes being found in their thousands believe they may be close to solving the mystery.
Some scientists do believe that religious zealots are gathering up live animals and fish, poisoning them and , thereafter, packing them on planes and in helicopters to drop the dead animals etc. from great heights in an effort to cause chaos of biblical proportions.
During the past few decades, attendance at many churches has dropped considerably as may people have turned their back on religion. Many people question the 'God' who is allowing wars to take the lives of millions of innocents, and the fact that no-one has ever returned from the dead to tell of an after-life.
Meanwhile, churches are suffering financially. Fewer church-goers means less in the 'coffers'.
This is the main reason it is believed that the recent events regarding the birds and fish are a result of the zealots, working in an effort to get people back in the pews.
