The 2nd District Court of the 14th Judicial District announced today that they were holding Harry D. Farquar of Bentonville, Arkansas, on a warrant served by Federal Marshal Clint Bosworth on a charge of manufacturing items that were illegal under recent legislation passed by the State Legislature in Arkansas.
In a surprise raid on his business, carried out by the Federal Marshals serving the "secret" warrant, Farquar was found to be manufacturing and creating "Ornaments that were contrary to present day concepts pertaining to the December Holiday Season."
When confronted with the accusation, Farquar commented, "Some old guy told me about the December Holiday when he was a kid and they used to put a kinda scene under their tree which showed a barn scene with cows and sheep, and a baby laying in straw with his Mom and Dad and three guys wearing capes and stuff, and a light shining down on the kid and everyone was lookin at him, that's all I know and that is what I wuz tryin to do, just something show what it musta be like in the olden days."
Farquar will be arranged in mid January.
