An alarming computer virus which changes users facebook profiles to cartoon characters is the latest in a series of security embarrassments for facebook.
The Looney Toon 1.2 virus is believed to have originated from hackers in Venezuala and has now infected over 15% of facebook users.
The virus does little to harm the computer system, however it does forward a list of porn sites the user has visited to facebook friends in a private message.
Security consultants are now urgently working to fix a patch before more facebook customers are embarrassed by the virus.
Fearing a 'ToonGate' many politicans are rushing to have their facebook accounts deactivated as their profile pictures are displaying cartoon characters.
