Mark Zuckerberg has come out fighting against the persistent rumours and allegations that he is in fact a Geek.
The rumours have been flying around the net, following the release of 'The Social Network', a Hollywood dramatization of Facebook founder Zuckerberg. It charts the Harvard origins Facebook to the 500 million strong website it is today.
Despite Zuckerberg winning prizes in math and science while a pupil at boarding school in New Hampshire; he insists he was a cool guy at school and later, at Harvard.
His very own Facebook page lists snow boarding, rowing and basket ball and hot babes as his main hobbies, all his friends are either sports stars, models or rock and rap stars.
Zuckerberg recently claimed he knows 'nothing' about computers and paid a couple of real geeks to develop Facebook, so he could become popular. While the film does part support Zuckerberg claims, it also makes clear Zuckerberg is a major geek.
Zuckerberg parents, speaking from Dobbs, New York, have asked the media to leave their son alone and strongly deny the geek rumours. Zuckerberg's father brought down a baseball and bat from his sons former bedroom as proof the rumours are lies. He added, "Check his room, there's no Star Trek posters or Star Wars DVD's, only Major League Stars, and panties from girls he scored up there."
