Over the last 2 years scientists in Switzerland have been using the Large Halon Colider to find the elusive GOD particle.
In their pursuit of the GOD particle they have discovered several other known but unproven particles including the DEVIL particle, The HONEST LAWYER particle, and the Californian Virgin particle.
After performing hundreds of useless experiments, the scientists finally found one that hints at some by accelerating 1 cubic micron of Honest Lawyer Particles to near the speed of light and smashing them into a Californian Virgin particle - they were able to create a whole slew of Welfare Recipient Particles.
While several scientists believe that Welfare Recipient particles are benign and of virtually no use - the scientists in Germany disagree. They claim that these particles can be used to increase taxes, increase global population, and artificially stimulate the economy.
I am still waiting for them to discover the Intelligent Government Official particle.
