Copenhagen, Denmark. Thursday. One of the World's last remaining scientific mysteries has been solved and many people are celebrating tonight.
The quest to discover why women can't read road maps has been concluded and the answer will not surprise many men: women are stupid.
This complex problem has been the cause of so much scientific theorising since the Middle Ages, and only now has a male cabale of respected chauvinists, sorry, scientists, reached a final proven conclusion.
In their 12000 page summary of tests and experiments carried out to finally prove the fact, the scientists firmly stated that women do not carry a special gene, apparently peculiar to the male of the species, that allows visual and mental coordination when reading a cartographic representation. Their findings are being seriously challenged by feminist groups such as the Female Map Reading Collective, not to be confused with the Society of Female Map Readers.
"This is just another barrier in our long fight for recognition" declared Susan Dumtits, spokeswoman for the Collective. The Society of Female Map Readers president was expected to make a statement today however got lost in traffic.
