Véritable Arnaque who died 999 years ago in the French town of Qui-a-dit-ça, but who has earned Paris mediums very many millions of Euros which they have not declared to the tax man, has revealed that she was the real author of Dan Brown's 'Da Vinci Code' and 'Lost Symbol'.

Véry, as she is known to those who channel her (through whose voice she communicates from the beyond) is furious that Dan has not told his billions of readers that she had in fact dictated his two best sellers to him.

"I can tell you that he's a real dunce. Couldn't even spell the word 'code'. But now he's raking in the money and here I am still unknown. Unknown and dead on top of it!" she shouted repeatedly into the ears of her Paris-based chanellers this past week.

She continued: "Not that I've got anything against Dan, the poor dunce, but he should do the decent thing and tell the world of our nightly sessions. It was real hot! I was talking and he was writing. No, nothing else happened. I only like men with black hair."

Véry has now written her own book - or rather, she's dictated it to a French medium - in which she sets the record straight.

The book - 'Uncoding Dan Brown' - is 2302 pages long and costs $1000 but included in the cover price is the taxi fare to get the book back home.

Is the book selling well?

Said a spokesman for one of Paris's taxi companies:

"Selling vel? 'Vel' iz not ze vord. You vill know 'ow vel if I tell you that ve 'ave not enouf of ze taxis in Pariez, so ve is bringing taxis to ze capital from ze ozh'ur towns. But even so ze Parizienz zey 'ave to reserve ze taxi ten days in advance. That iz 'ow vel ze book iz selling."

Dan Brown was unavailable for comment but his neighbors say that he's been burning white candles for protection against Véritable Arnaque's evil spirit.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
