Mountain View (DP) - Google has plans to launch a revolutionary product to merge all social networking into a single interface. The product, aptly named Cyclops, is an ultra thin webcam that affixes to one's forehead with Velcro tape. It uses mobile broadband WiFi to transmit the video directly to Google servers, where anyone can watch the stream live.
No longer will one have to mess with texting short messages or uploading a gazillion photos of your weekend escapades. Neither will one have to deal with slow and buggy video editing software anymore. Cyclops promises to become the be-all end-all.
Just slap it on your forehead and instantly anyone can observe your fascinating life as it unfolds before your eyes. Capture yourself in your finest moments, i.e. using the bathroom, stuffing oneself with half a dozen donuts and furiously typing away on your keyboard. While Cyclops may feel mildly irritating on your forehead, Google is confident you will get accustomed to it, just like you would get used to wearing a wristwatch.
