Women have been shown to suffer from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) where work is concerned. They simply cannot accept when to stop and insist categorically that a woman's work is never done.
Men have been shown to disregard such things as standards and quality in favour of an 'if it doesn't smell too bad, it'll do' attitude.
Women, meanwhile, will clean something thoroughly and then once that's done go back and clean it again 'just to be sure'.
In laboratory experiments, a male and female subject were placed in identical adjoing cells, each equipped with a washing machine, kitchen sink, oven, fridge, comfy chair and television set.
They were then left alone and watched through two-way mirrors for a week.
By the end of the study, researchers found that while the man had barely moved from the comfy chair and television - except for occasional visits to the fridge - the woman cleaned and washed the place so much that she actually removed several layers of metal from the sink.
"Women are hard wired to perform tasks continually, whereas men have just got hard-necks and do fuck all", said the lead researcher.
