Green Broccoli Trees encircle the Arctic

Predictions of global warming have painted frightening images of uninhabitable southern regions and disasterous ice and snow melts that would flood every coastal area. One forecast that has rarely made the news, science or otherwise has been the spontaneous growth of healthful green vegetables in previously barren stretches of tundra.

Massive fields of wild broccoli have suddenly been generated across vast once frozen praires. Cauliflower, cabbage and arrugala now flourish throughout the rapidly defrosting northern regions. The polar vegetable cap formerly known as ice is now supplying gourmet restaurants around the workld with delicious endive, and other exotic salad greens. Sarah Palin, Governor of once frigid Alaska has hired the Jolly, ho ho ho Green giant as the state's spokes green person for the 50th states bumper crop of salad and vegetable greens.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
