Phone Apps Deployed in War

Funny story written by CherryFairy

The U.S government have announced that, due to the recession and the need for urgent spending cutbacks, cheaper weapons will be deployed in the Middle East.

An anonymous source reports that the government is musing over contracts for iphones that will come preloaded with 'both defensive as well as potentially lethal apps.'

Until now, applications such as iBeer, iSteam and iFart have been criticised for being 'pointless' and 'dumbing down' the purpose of the iPhone. But an insider has been quoted as saying "Some of these apps are going to save the day for us out there."

It's even been rumoured that the CIA will soon be using the iSteam application as its standard method of secret communication.

"No Comms Unit can intercept a message written in steam" one soldier reports.

What with an upgrade pending to produce smells from the mic of the iPhone, it seems that these iPhone apps are going to kick some enemy butt...

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
