China sent it's first cow into space last night and at 3am local time it soared over our nearest and dearest celestial neighbor - the Moon.
The cow, named Moe Inge, was photographed from the Hubble telescope performing a balletic display of movement as she somersaulted and cart wheeled across the lunar landscape with glee.
So much pride and excitement was felt amongst the Chinese nation at this wondrous achievement.
The cow's former dorm mate back on Earth, a Mr. Little Dog, laughed out loud to, as he put it, "see such fun".
"That cow always loved the Moon", said the Little Dog, "some nights she'd just stare up at it at say 'moooo'. I know she meant to say 'moon' but she had a slight speech impediment."
But it was not all good news.
The heroic cow's boyfriend - a Mr. Dish - ran away with tableware tycoon heir, Ms. Spoon. They were last seen dancing intimately at a concert where a Cat played the fiddle.
