Do you like books? How do you like these books?

Scientists in Omaha, have proven beyond all doubt, that Choose Your own Adventure books are not to be taken seriously as a guide to life.

The books, which were popular in the 1980's set geeky kids alter-egos in books, where they were the heroes, and had to make decisions to save the world, knowing that each wrong choice could lead to a horrifying and gruesome death at one extreme, or the heart of the girl they loved, and riches beyond compare at the other.

Dr Lionel Bink, who spent many years, and a lot of Government money on the research said: 'This discovery is what I have been working on for years and years. It shows that those hours which I gave to Jackson and Livingston's literary master-pieces were not a waste. I gave up relationships, and a happy life for this discovery, but now I have been vindicated. The neighbourhood is scared of me, but look what I have done, I have proven this to be the case'.

The Doctor has proven scientifically what most 8 year old children know. A similar study in Britain has shown that most of the stereotypes found in the Mr Men and Little Miss Books do not actually exist within most communities. Dr Bink is 59, with a library of these books. Believe us, his liking for these books is not the only reason he is single.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
