A pre-virus nanotech flier: foraging for pollen or military secrets in the Kremlin?

Washington DC - (Contagious Mess): A mutant cyber-variant virus modelled on the organic West Nile Virus is threatening the Pentagon's cutting edge flying nanotech spyware.

The military's metallic robobugs masquerade as dragonflies, wasps and mosquitos etc, and are deployed to infiltrate sealed-circuit cyber networks such as the Kremlin's internal communications system or Buckingham Palace's new steamroom-cum-sauna/gymnasium.

But an engineered mutant cyber-variant modelled on the dreaded White Nile Virus is wreaking havoc with their hacking capabilities.

The virus is a glitch in the nanotech flue-like program that gathers electronic signals, creates an artificial smoke-screen and then relays data down an undetectable cyber-chute to a download ducting facility in a remote location.

Symptoms of the virus include erratic flight paths, attraction to static electricity and huddling en masse on light-flickering surfaces such as VDU consoles and TVs.

Disgruntled ex-Mossad employees are believed to be behind the cyber virus which has been blamed on an array of recent international incidents including George W Bush's slamming of Nelson Mandela as a rougueish terrorist conspirator chum of Saddam Hussein.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
