Cheyenne, Wyoming (The Herald) - Turd Ferguson, a retired Wyoming rancher, has won the 2007 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for demonstrating that shit and shinola are actually one-and-the-same.
"For years people believed they were different. But chemically they are identical. We have tried both and they taste exactly alike... trust me on this one," said the uncharacteristically loquacious Ferguson.
It is not known why it has taken this long to discern the difference (or lack thereof), but experts quite literally 'in the field' believe that no one was willing to go the extra mile to get accurate sampling data.
