That's Rumself buddy - want me to spell it out?

Following a spate of typos worldwide, former US defence secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, has changed his name to Rumself to lessen confusion.

The typos have appeared internationally on online news websites and forums. Googling for the word 'Rumself' reveals just how prevalent the issue has become.

'Rumsfeld' is one of a long list of so called 'finger-twisters'. Similar to 'tongue-twisters', these are words which, when typed, cause the typist to spew out a word which is, in fact, garbage and bears no resemblance to the original word.

A few other examples of 'finger-twisters' include true (ture), danger (dnager), want (wank) and words (workds).

A quick survey of office workers revealed 80% of 40% of words they typed were incorrect.

It is reported that this phenomenon costs business millions of dollars per day world-wide through the use of finger-twisters in passwords.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
