Disabled mall cops will not be unemployed thanks to Pride Mobility's new range of police specification mobility scooters.
The range includes light, medium and heavy duty scooters fitted with police equipment such as full emergency LED light packages, radios, siren/PA systems and mobile computers. Pride also modifies new and existing golf carts to use hand controls and also installs a range of police equipment for law enforcement agencies.
Twenty four disabled mall cops have tested the new scooters and given them a 10/10 in every category. One even went so far as to describe them as 'The 'Pursuit Special' from Mad Max.' Another described it as 'sheer joy just to ride Code 3 in one of these.'
The scooters are now being sold through mobility shops USA-wide.
