11 year old Dakota Fanning today made her appearance dressed as Scarlett O'Hara at the 12th Annual Dream Halloween Benefit, which is held to raise money for children with HIV/AIDS every year in October.
According to eyewitnesses, Dakota was seen walking up to a boy on a mobility scooter shortly before photographs were taken of the attendees and offering her hand to him. The little boy refused to kiss it.
Dakota then attempted to kiss the little boy on his cheek, but before she could do so the little boy was riding off to the nearest bus stop, reportedly scarred by the incident.
He has since refused to communicate with Dakota, who said to news media on the day of the incident 'I don't understand it. It's just a kiss.'
The little boy was last seen placing a parking fine of over $250 under one of the windscreen wipers of the Fannings' hired limousine, before leaving for the nearest bus stop.
