Evolution geeks are today enraptured by the latest plot twist in their mythology.
For years, fibbing 'professors' such as atheist fundamentalist and evolution crackpot Richard Dawkins have been spreading the tale that snakes originated from the sea, a bit like an adventerous eel that somehow slithered on land, and somehow managed to reproduce offspring that could also live on the land, and shuffle about a bit.
Yet again, the tree of life has to be pruned. Due to the lack of any evidence for the fish theory, a new fossil suggests that snakes were infact land animals similar to lizards who found an advantage in losing their legs!
Our resident scientist commented "It just goes to show what a f***ing tissue of bullsh*t evolution is. I can't believe that there are still f*ckwits that swallow this cr*p. Next they'll be saying that it was a f*ckin' bird whose wings fell off."
