A future political heavyweight?

In the latest of a seemingly more regular slot, 78-and-a-half-year-old man, Ray Ving, gives us his opinion on the important matters of the day.

'I was reading, as you do, the front page of The Times today. I didn't buy it, but I read it, which is the next best thing, and there was something about Dominic Cummings looking for more odd-balls and weirdos to work in Whitehall. And it made me think, it really did, and I hate to think about things.

Aren't there enough weirdos in politics as it is? I mean you have Boris Johnson, Michael Gove, Michael Fabricant, and Jacob Rees-Mogg. Aren't they strange enough as it is? If you look to America, you have that mad stark raving buffoon Donald Trump. Have they not already made enough of a mess of things as it is?

Would you like a Bourbon biscuit?

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
