As Republicans and Democrats in Congress refuse to tackle the financial problem caused by the growing number of elderly in the country, the cost of providing for senior citizens continues to mount. One American's Views deems it our responsibility to inform the American public of this raid on their tax dollars.
The United States spends over $365billion annually supporting unproductive oldsters, a total exceeding ONE TRILLION DOLLARS every decade. That amount covers expenses such as medicare, care givers, assisted living, social security, government pensions, and just plain welfare, forcing US taxpayers to shell out $1billion every single day.
There is a solution, which warped moral values have so far rejected. With the national debt already at its limit, when will Congress see the light? Euthanasia is not abortion.
