Speaking in an interview on loose women, Monday admitted to Kay Adams that it doesn't like Bob Geldof either.
After the Boom Town Rat's song went to no.1 for 3 weeks back in 1978, Monday admitted "I was devastated. I remember thinking what the hell have I done for this toe rag like me"
Kay then asked if Monday had ever bumped into Bob Geldof when he was out and about?
"Yes in fact. It was back in the late 80's. I was in String fellows and it was our Christmas works party. I was with my buddies Tuesday and Saturday." Monday laughed, "I heard a glass smash behind me and turn in time to see Geldof shout i'll f%*kin show you how its f%*kin done at a sobbing stripper and then drop his trousers!"
"Wow... What did you do?" asked Kay.
Monday said, "I felt really sorry for the stripper, poor girl. So I went over and asked if she was o.k? She got up still sobbing, so I grabber her knickers that had landed in some fella's pint and re attached her boob tassel that had come off in all the commotion. With that I walked over to Geldof (all cool like) and pushing a pound note into the side of his dirty brown pants I said YOU DISGUST ME"
Monday went on to say, "I wanted to land one on him really, but he was drinking with the twats from 'Sparks' and I hear they're a bit tasty after a few pints."
