NEW YORK CITY - Elton John was in New York City shopping for a certain brand of boa that is only sold in the Big Apple.
As he was shopping he was asked by Ashburn Wasabi with The Right Coast Revue what he thought about William and Kate's new baby boy.
The flamboyant singer rolled his eyes and said that he was proud to be a British subject. He then added that he had just texted Kate and informed her that he would love to be her baby's godfather (or godmother).
The "Tiny Dancer" singer stressed that he knows he would make a fantabulous godparent since he could sing all of his catalog of songs to the little royal baby.
He also noted that he could sew dozens and dozens of extravagant baby clothes and even have a little Steinway piano made especially for him.
When asked if Kate had responded to his text message he smiled and said that yes she had and that she and William would like to meet with him at Buckingham Palace when he returns back to England.
