NEW YORK CITY - Piano men Billy Joel and Elton John both performed at The 44th Annual Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York City.
The two have been on the outs since Elton commented to iRumors that Billy really needed to start writing songs that had more than 20 notes in them.
The "Uptown Girl" singer responded by saying that Elton needs to stop acting like a flaming fairy and try and act a little more like Ricky Martin who is gay but who doesn't swish when he walks or lisps when he talks.
Elton reportedly became so mad that he said that the reason why Billy's ex-wife Christie Brinkley divorced him was because he was so short he had to jump up just to give her a kiss.
Joel fired back saying that some of Elton's outfits were sold to him because Lady Gaga rejected them as being way too gaudy, ugly, and basically yucky as hell.
After Ryan Seacrest heard about the two continuing with their feud he cornered them both and told them to shake hands and start acting like those two has-been jerks Madonna and Naomi Campbell.
SIDENOTE: Elton John and Billy Joel have now made up and are planning on going on a concert tour of Scandinavia starting in August.
