British defence secretary Philip Hammond has said there will be no change in the current Afghanistan military strategy.
Back and to the Left news finds this a little strange as when we do something wrong multiple times we change our tactics. The difference is if we do something wrong it doesn't cost the arms, legs and lives of people.
"Our tactics in Afghanistan are spot on and I defy anybody who says there not. We have the finest military minds in the country giving us advice on the situation, yes we completely ignore them but only because we know what were doing."
Mr Hammond sounds like a man with his finger on the pulse. Which is something a lot of young British soldiers no longer have because of the strategic undermining of the British military.
Back and to the Left news would like to suggest a new tactic for Afghanistan. Leave. Failing that we should send squads of poorly equipped MPs into Taliban controlled territory to look for IED's.
