The calm before the storm.

Well 74 years of hurt continues as Andy Murray lost in four sets to Swiss King Roger Federer, who now has 17 Grand Slams compared to Murrays none.

Celebrities packed the Centre Court and Royal Box.

David Cameron was in attendance, but had to leave early after remembering he left his daughter in a local pub.

Nick Clegg was on hand to be Deputy David Cameron, albeit without the family trust fund.

Boris Johnson also left early, on his Boris Bike to pay a Mayoral visit to a 'minted' ladyfriend donor.

David Beckham and wife Victoria were in attendance, David seen eating pizza and holding back tears, still upset about his exclusion from the Olympic Team GB football team. Victoria nibbled on a twiglet throughout the match.

Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond cheered every Murray point win, and was heard telling anyone that would listen (ie. no-one) that next years Wimbledon would be hosted in Edinburgh.

Wife of Willie, Kate Middleton was supported by her sister Pippa. As the rain continued to fall, God like Olympian Steve Redgrave offered Pippa Middleton a ride home in his canoe.

Pop princess Rihanna was hoping to attend, but got delayed on a Jubilee Line train at Green Park after problems with her Oyster card. Nevertheless fans remembered her in spirit as they opened thousands of umbrella-ella-ella aye aye as the rain fella, fella, fella aye aye.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
