The risk of heart disease and premature death from any cause doubled for those spending more than fours hours a day glued to a screen, it was claimed.
This is very troublesome as the readers of this article will most likely have to put themselves into that risk factor group.
All the fun is being taken away from life. One wonders why we should bother living at all. We can't EAT what we want, we can't DRINK what we want, now we can't WATCH what we want - be it on t.v. or a computer screen.
It's best not to bother living at all. Sad but true. Where is the GOOD news?
Are we to be citing our bosses for abuse in the workplace for making some of us peer at computer screens all day?
Should parents be taken to court for putting their children at risk of future heart disease and premature death for allowing them a couple of hours on the computer and a couple of hours watching t.v.?
The world is going crazy.
We need a break from this insanity. We need a break from all of these 'studies'.
