Obama Congratulates Dahmer After Winning Hot Dog Eating Contest! Love those 2nd Chances!

Most law abiding, hard working, tax paying citizens, and even sports fans were scratching their heads this week after it was revealed that a President under Siege could take the time to praise a billionaire Democratic fund raiser for hiring a convicted felon who served time for the horrendous crimes involved with the abuse, maiming and death of dogs.

President Obama, while claiming victory in a lame duck congress after he and his storm trooper Senate Majority Leader Harry "Bet Me" Reid, and House Speaker "Call Me a Plane" Nancy Pelosi were crushed in the mid term elections, was able to take time for a "shout out" to NFL quarterback Michael Vick, now directing the offense for the Philadelphia Eagles owned by former Hollywood Producer Jeffrey Lurie.

Lurie, who bought the team in 1994 for $195m has seen the franchise grow to be worth $1.054B, not a bad return on your money in these economic times. Lurie, who never met a liberal he wouldn't support, after all he's from Hollywood and received his PhD (!) in 'Social Policy' from Brandeis, was lauded by Obama for giving Vick 'a second chance.'

Granted Vick is an athlete of exceptional talents with the legs of a quarter horse, and the passing arm of a laser guided missile, has led the team to the top of it's conference going into the playoffs, even causing gushing liberal sports reporters to tout him for the League's MVP award over Tom Brady, the poster boy of clean living, low profile team commitment.

Vick , who received more than a life time of '2nd chances' since his football talents were recognized since kindergarten, got a pass all the way through college and into the preseason of his rookie year, being involved in all kinds of questionable scrapes with the law, ditto his brother, who also squandered his athletic ability for the sake of self gratification.

Meanwhile, back in Massachusetts, home of the perennial liberal mindset where pedophiles are deemed "social projects", where Willie Horton, now infamous during Michael Du Ca Ca's Presidential run where the criminal sentenced to a life term without parole for stabbing a 17 year old store clerk 17 times and putting the body in a dumpster, was granted weekend furloughs, presumably to go to the library to work on his Master's Degree, but instead went on a robbery, assault rape rampage, nothing has changed.

Governor Deval 'Cadillac' Patrick, fellow Harvard Alum of Barry, and sometime speech writer for the great communicator, heads up the Bastion of the Kennedy Camelot Cabal, even though the last Kennedy left office feet first, and in an election shocker, the rubber stamped successor, was drubbed at the polls by a Tea Party endorsed REPUBLICAN!

Should anyone think that 'CHANGE' was coming, think again. Massachusetts was the only state in the union that returned EVERY DEMOCRAT INCUMBENT in the recent Republican Tsunami, including one of the main architects of the Mortgage Meltdown, the infamous supporter of Fannie Mae excesses, the lisping, limp wristed Barney Frank.

Frank was slapped on the wrist for getting his dates from classified ads and housing a male prostitute in his Washington Town house, who then ran an 'escort' ring from it, while Barney intervened to get his parking tickets fixed.

The latest outrage happened last week, when a felon with THREE LIFE SENTENCES was inexplicably paroled. On his rap sheet were two (2) escapes, one leading to the shooting of a security guard.

While still on parole the 51 year old who had 'turned his life around' masterminded a jewelry store heist that ended in a parking lot shoot out with a 30 year veteran Woburn cop who was scheduled to retire this year, and had never pulled his service revolver.

After the shootout, the parolee, deemed worthy of a 'second chance' lay dead surrounded by a mound of scattered diamonds, close by the the police officer who wouldn't be retiring, nor seeing his children and wife again.

Now back to Vick, Obama & Lurie. Does anyone think that the Eagle's owner took a chance on Vick because he had a sense of helping the Under Dog, pardon the pun, or was it the fact the price was right, and the odds were good for yet another windfall profit on a cheap investment.

As for the President of the United States, who has diminished the office ever since he's been in it, taking the time to acknowledge a convicted felon, only goes along with his arrogance and lack of social graces that the American Public has witnessed for the past two years.

From dissing Britain and sending back the oval office bust of Churchill, to be seen sitting with his feet up on the Resolution Desk, to snubbing Gordon Brown, (well, maybe he gets a pass there), to coddling terrorists and religious fanatics, to prosecuting a state for trying to protect it's borders, to ignoring voter fraud and intimidation, shutting down off shore drilling and ramming through legislation that no one has thought through and the public doesn't want Obama has shown not only his arrogance, but his narcissism and ideological bent.

This only begs the question, if they had pardoned serial killer and Cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer, and he went on to win the Coney Island Hot Dog Eating Contest, would he to have gotten a call from Obama praising him for making the most of "HIS" second chance?

Once can only wonder.
