I hope, like me, you are enjoying the summer and all the wonderful sporting opportunities that the summer days afford us. Last week saw the start of the Hedgehog scrubbing season with Ernie Pugh stepping up to the mark for his title defence.
Yesterday I found myself hypnotised by the Team America side as they battled to retain the Rabbit combing trophy, phew! What a carnival that turned out to be!
But this month,I am saving my money to go and see the excellent Sidney Ecclespom and his team thrash it out at Spumes court for the international Snail polishing grand prix. Can not wait!
Last year, we saw The Hedgerow Horders lose their title to Mrs Plimsoles team after a nail biting Sparrow hopping gala!
What will happen this year?
And finally, I visited the training camp of world champion Guinea Pig rodeo rider Phyliss batty who is on form for a great season.
